David Stegall Vocals & Harmonica

David Stegall is a relative newcomer to the Birmingham music scene, in his short 12-year public playing history, he has played with and learned from some of the best musicians in Birmingham including Eric Essix, James (PJ) Spraggins, Roscoe Robinson, LeNard Brown, Matthew Taylor, Kelvin Benion and the late David Camon. He is a long-time member of the Birmingham Blues Society, an alumnus of John Gindick’s Mississippi Delta Blues Harmonica Camp and has played at Ground Zero in Clarksdale, MS (the crossroads of highways 61 and 49). Stegall has also played with Slim’s Pat-EO Band, the Beloved Community Orchestra, Frazier & Friends, Stegall Fields, Stegall & Company (with Carlos Pino) and Brooks-Stegall.

Reid Brooks Rhythm Guitar & Vocals

Reid Brooks is a Chicago native who has been playing music in and around Birmingham since 2011. A singer/songwriter, Reid cut his teeth writing, singing, and playing guitar and mandolin with Stephanie Cook in the Americana/Folk duo Magnolia Tree Singers. In 2013, Reid and Stephanie recorded Iron Mountain Blues, a 14-song album of original and old-time songs influenced by the duo's life in the South. Reid Brooks and David Stegall formed Brooks-Stegall in 2016 where Reid is the duo's songwriter, and where he sings and plays guitar. Brooks-Stegall gigs regularly around Birmingham, and in Summer of 2018 started to work on a Leonard Cohen music review.

Marjorie Trimm Vocalist

Marjorie Trimm is a Certified Vocologist (voice scientist) and voice and piano teacher in Birmingham, AL with a classical background. She has performed at Carnegie Hall and Meyerson Hall in Dallas as well as her European solo debut in Vienna, Austria and regularly performs in the Birmingham Music Club's operettas. Because of her love for jazz, Broadway, pop, and rock music, Marjorie currently is a master's student at Westminster Choir College - Voice Pedagogy- contemporary music track (expected graduation date of May 2023).

Adam Guthrie Multi Instrumentalist/Songwriter

Adam Guthrie, born in Birmingham, Alabama, is a multi instrumentalist/songwriter who toured extensively in the US with the eclectic horn-driven eight-piece punk band Pain that gained exposure from a theme song for Jabberjaw on Cartoon Network. He has since performed on various stringed instruments for local and touring bands based out of Birmingham. In 2019, members of the band, Pain, reunited to form Salvo which has released two albums including 2021’s “The Traveler.” He also released a solo album titled “Stars“ in 2021. Adam enjoys recording, producing albums, and composing film scores.

 

Lindsey Underwood Band Director at Northridge Middle School

Lindsey Underwood is the band director at Northridge Middle School in Tuscaloosa. Throughout her 12 years of teaching, she has taught middle and high school band, choir, musical theatre, private voice, and private instrument lessons. Lindsey also currently serves as the Music Director at First United Methodist Church in Montevallo. In addition to teaching, Lindsey performs regularly as a vocalist and instrumentalist specializing in trumpet. She also enjoys musical theatre direction and performing when she can.

David Lambert Keyboards

David Lambert grew up in the small town of Leeds, Alabama. His love for music grew at an early age while watching his mother play the old family piano. David’s first musical experience was taking guitar lessons on his sister’s borrowed guitar. From there, he played in several bands starting at the age of 12 playing guitar and lending vocals. At the age of 16 he found his passion for piano while working at Ellis Piano in Hoover and quickly taught himself how to play the keys. For the past 16 years he has been playing in bands that include: Six Times Over, Blaze of Fire, Path Working, and a 90s cover band called Uncle Jesse. He is thrilled to be a part of this musical event in tribute of one of his favorite artists.

Andrew Malinoski Bass

Andrew Malinoski is a Birmingham native who has been contributing to its music scene since 2004. Andrew has played in at least 20 bands ranging from classic rock cover bands, jazz and blues groups, to progressive rock groups. Andrew enjoys writing his own music and arranging original scores. Andrew is skilled at playing the bass guitar, piano, and the Chapman stick. He draws musical inspiration from the likes of Peter Gabriel, Frank Zappa, David Bowie, Iron Maiden, and Danny Elfman. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys watching hockey, reading fantasy novels, trying new craft beers, and playing with his dog.

Will Hudson Drums

Born in Montgomery, Will Hudson started playing drums professionally at 16, studied under father who was a great jazz drummer! Plays all styles of music and considers himself fortunate and blessed to be able to play music as his profession!
